sedona is an amazing place with special energy, beautiful red rocks and a lot of interesting characters...


it really is the land of cowboys and indians...

and people that come and look for alien activity...

the energy vortexes attract hippies, gypsies,psychics and spiritual seekers...


and everything corn.....

and of course nature lovers....
and then there is the artist community and the wealthy american retirees....

this rock is named after some india deity that i forgot the name of...

bell rock is one of the 4 vortexes and is considered an upflow vortex, spiraling energy up through its center and out in the world

ghost town jerome

jerome was once known as the wickedest town in the west. it started as a copper mining camp, and grew to a roaring mining community. after WW 2 the mine closed down and everyone left jerome.
it became a ghost town and in the 60's & 70's an artists community started living there and today it is a big attraction to see what is left of the old mining town

the restaurant is called 'the haunted hamburger'

open 24 hour ! ja right ! only in jerome

i did the chopra centre's one week SOS course in sedona and we stayed at the beautiful enchanted resort
this is how the units looked. the property is huge and you get driven around in little golf carts.
the resort also has a spa that was voted 2 years in a row as one of the top 10 spa's in the US !
unfortunately i did NOT go for a treatment.....

the resort is build in a nature reserve - there are lots of trails to walk and animals walk around on the property
really amazing !


we had an early morning mediation every morning with sunrise...


...and after morning meditation we did yoga outside on a croquet lawn
and then again in the evening before dinner :)))))
